Middle of the Year Assessments
We will begin administering middle-of-the-year (MOY) assessments in literacy and math. I cannot stress enough the importance of practicing sight words each night at home, students must recognize these sight words in order to be on grade level in reading. Thank you for all that you do!
Shapes!
Shapes are everywhere! We have been working with 2D shapes this week. We searched for 2D shapes in magazines to see where we could find these shapes in "real life". We also created shape monsters! Later this week we will begin working with 3D shapes.
